Startup MVP

MVP DEVELOPMENT ENSURES YOUR PRODUCT MEETS TRUE MARKET NEEDS, SPEEDS UP THE RELEASE AND SAVES YOU MONEY!

Do you feel like you’re in a time-to-market race with your software product idea? We’re not surprised - thousands of startups fight for their position in the ferociously competitive market in an attempt to create sustainable businesses. Unfortunately, as much as 90% of them fail. The main reason? There was no market need for their product.

Most of those unsuccessful businesses drain their budgets on developing full-fledged products, only to find out that nobody wants to use it. Building a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) first can help you avoid this grim scenario. It can also help you raise venture capital funds for a full fledged release that hits user needs and rocks the market.

What is an MVP and why you need one?

Minimum Viable Product is the minimal version of a functioning product that demonstrates it’s key functionalities required to verify its market value and attract investors. The idea behind an MVP is to obtain user feedback as early as possible, before releasing the final product.

MVPs are built according to Agile methodology and place great emphasis on users and usability testing, which help steer the product in the right direction. It’s essentially a product demo that you can show to a potential user base and ask them “Would you use it and if not, why?”

JMR has been helping us augment our internal development capabilities, mainly around web development. They’re an embedded contractor for us; they build some of our internal applications from the frontend to the Python backend, helping our technology stack be a more modern application. We’ve had processes that would take days to run, and now it’s down to hours, thanks to JMR's work.
